NRA Day at Deep River Sporting Clays and Shooting School

The North Carolina NRA Grassroots team had another great NRA Day on Saturday, August 8th.  Our gratitude goes out to Deep River Sporting Clays and Shooting School for hosting us! There was a huge turnout for the NSCA Sporting Clays Fun Shoot, and we heard over and over, “You bet I’m voting in November, for candidates who support the Second Amendment!” Many thanks to Deep River’s Ed Strickland for his warm welcome, NRA Board member Edie Fleeman for her constant support, and Carolyn Comfort from The Well Armed Woman of Fuquay-Varina, who came to cheer us on!  Jim Stirling, the newest NRA-ILA Campaign Field Representative, for the Raleigh area, also was on-site to engage with attendees.  A good time was had by all and more Frontlines volunteers were recruited!
